Alhamdulillah, my dream fulfilled again early this year by reaching these holy cities after a year. Yes, it has been a year since my last Umrah, I went again with my mom and dad (my brothers couldn't join us this year).
The lovely Medina welcomed us with full of love, the calm and peaceful environment given the feeling of purity and salam. Medina is a piece of paradise to me. I had spent nine days in Mecca and Medina and for those of you who have been to these blessed places, it's so breathtaking.
On January 10th, we flew from Jakarta to Abu Dhabi by Etihad (it took 8 hours flight). Abu Dhabi International airport is really cool, if only I had much time I'd love to explore this airport. From Abu Dhabi we flew again to Jeddah, it took about 5 hours flight.
We stayed in Bin Dawood hotel (I couldn't remember the name of the hotel), actually the hotel was uncomfortable, there were only a few elevators and we always used stairs, I can't imagine if old people need to use the stairs to 11th floor or more, despite it's directly facing Nabawi Mosque.
